The EMSIV Project, “Empowerment of ethnic Minority Students in Vietnam” is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ KA2 program and was officially launched in March 2024. The project involves nine partners, including AlmaLaurea (Interuniversity Consortium of Italy), Polytechnic University of Porto (Portugal), University of Insubria (Italy), and six Vietnamese institutions: Hanoi University, Tay Nguyen University, Thai Nguyen University, Nha Trang University, the Agriculture and Forestry Research & Development Center for Mountains Region, and the Management Board of Hanoi Industrial Zones and Processing & Export Areas. The project aims to enhance the capacity of ethnic minority students through research on their perceptions and analysis of labor market perspectives. It seeks to promote support for these students by raising awareness, transferring European best practices, strengthening stakeholder commitment, and fostering supportive policies and opportunities from educational institutions, employers, policymakers, and relevant stakeholders in Vietnam.

Through participation in the program, the Thai Nguyen University delegation had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences, while strengthening cooperative ties with both domestic and international partners. This meaningful activity contributes to improving training quality, promoting equitable access to education, and fostering sustainable human resource development.
