On the afternoon of March 30, Thai Nguyen University (TNU) hosted and held a working session with a delegation from the Jeonbuk Culture and Tourism Foundation (Republic of Korea), led by Mr. Lee Kyung Yoon, President of the Foundation. Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party Committee and Chairman of the TNU Trade Union, along with representatives from the Department of Science, Technology and International Affairs and the School of Foreign Languages attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Ha provided an overview of TNU’s recent achievements in education, research, and international cooperation. He highlighted the strengths in culture and language training at Thai Nguyen University, noting that many TNU lecturers and students have participated in study, exchange, and cultural immersion programs in the Republic of Korea. He also expressed his hope that the Jeonbuk Culture and Tourism Foundation would explore potential areas for investment and collaboration, thereby contributing to the development of bilateral cooperation, particularly in human resource training.

In his remarks, Mr. Lee Kyung Yoon expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm reception extended by TNU. He introduced the functions and missions of the Culture and Tourism Foundation, as well as its future cooperation orientations. The Foundation is keen to promote cultural exchange, tourism development, and the establishment of study abroad pathways for students.

Exchange activities between the delegation and students of the School of Foreign Languages
As part of the program, the delegation also engaged in an exchange with students of the School of Foreign Languages and visited several campuses of TNU’s members. These activities contributed to strengthening connections and expanding the cooperation network between TNU and universities in Jeonbuk Province, Republic of Korea.
