The FEMMA Center launches the program “Donate a Book – Open Thousands of Chidlren’s Futures”

The Females from Ethnic and Mountainous Areas Research and Development Center (FEMMA), Thai Nguyen University, has officially launched the program “Donate a Book – Open Thousands of children’s Futures” with the aim of spreading knowledge, promoting a reading culture, and supporting people in disadvantaged communes across Thai Nguyen province.

The program is designed to supplement book resources for community libraries, especially in areas with limited access to learning materials. Each donated book not only carries knowledge but also helps nurture dreams, expand learning opportunities, and foster the comprehensive development of younger generations.

The FEMMA Center calls for contributions from staff, lecturers, students, organizations, businesses, and the wider community through the donation of gently used books such as children’s books, educational comics, life skills books, textbooks, reference books, dictionaries, as well as scientific and technological materials. Books will be collected from May 4 to May 8, 2026, at Room 103, Thai Nguyen University Conference Center.

A representative of the FEMMA Center stated that all donated books will be carefully classified, preserved, and distributed to the right beneficiaries, ensuring transparency and accountability. Through this effort, the program contributes to building an equitable learning environment and enabling people in disadvantaged areas to access knowledge. The program “Donate a Book – Open Thousands of Children’s Futures” serves as a bridge to spread the spirit of sharing and social responsibility, contributing to the development of local human resources and the building of a sustainable learning community.
