Thai Nguyen University Council

The Thai Nguyen University (TNU) Council for the 2022–2027 term consists of 33 members, as recognized by Decision No. 709/QĐ-BGDĐT dated March 14, 2022, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training. However, due to personnel changes, the Ministry issued Decision No. 2827/QĐ-BGDĐT on September 30, 2022, regarding the addition, replacement, and dismissal of certain members of the TNU Council for the 2022–2027 term. As of now, the TNU Council for the 2022–2027 term includes 32 members, comprising internal and external representatives:

  • Internal members include: The Secretary of the Party Committee of TNU, the President of TNU, the Chairperson of the TNU Trade Union, the representative of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (student representative), the Chairpersons of the University Councils or Rectors of the member universities, as well as representatives of lecturers, staff, and employees elected by the TNU Delegate Conference.
  • External members, accounting for at least 30% of the total Council members, include: representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training, and other members elected by the TNU Delegate Conference — such as leaders, managers, educators, cultural figures, scientists, entrepreneurs, alumni, and representatives of employers.
