On April 6, a delegation from Thai Nguyen University (TNU), led by Dr. Mai Anh Khoa, Director of the Department of Science, Technology and International Affairs, paid a visit to the Embassy of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Vietnam to extend New Year greetings on the occasion of the Lao traditional Bunpimay Festival 2569.

On behalf of the delegation, representatives of Thai Nguyen University conveyed their best wishes to all staff and officials of the Lao Embassy on the occasion of Bunpimay. They also expressed their appreciation for the Embassy’s role as a vital bridge in fostering the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos in general, and between Thai Nguyen University and Lao educational institutions in particular.
During the meeting, both sides discussed orientations to further strengthen cooperation in education and training in the coming time. Thai Nguyen University proposed enhancing collaboration with Lao higher education institutions through initiatives such as faculty and student exchanges, joint research, academic activities, and cultural exchange programs. These efforts aim to promote mutual understanding and strengthen connections between students of the two countries.
