In the morning of November 9, the final match and closing ceremony of the 2025 Lao Cai Provincial Women’s Football Championship took place at the Lao Cai Provincial Multi-purpose Gymnasium (Cam Duong Ward).
The closing ceremony was attended by representatives from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Center for Sports Training and Competition.

The 2025 Lao Cai Provincial Women’s Football Championship was held from November 6 to 9, with the participation of six teams. The teams were divided into two groups (A and B) and competed in a round-robin format within each group. The top two teams from each group advanced to the semifinals.

After eight thrilling and competitive matches, the two best teams—Bao Thang Youth Football Team and Thai Nguyen University – Lao Cai Campus—went to the final. Demonstrating determination and an effective counterattacking style, the players of Thai Nguyen University – Lao Cai Campus defeated their opponents with a score of 3–2, claiming the championship title. Bao Thang Youth Football Team was in the second place, while Bac Cuong Primary School No. 2 and Bao Thang High School No. 3 shared the third place.

The 2025 Lao Cai Provincial Women’s Football Championship served as a meaningful occasion for female players to exchange experiences, showcase their talents, and discover new potential, contributing to promoting the spirit of physical training and sports—especially women’s football—within the local community.
