After three months of implementation, from March to May 2026, the 2026 Lao Cai Provincial Reading Culture Ambassador Contest attracted wide participation from 59 commune-level units and 273 educational institutions, with more than 41,900 pupils and students taking part.

The Organizing Committee presents awards to units with outstanding performance in organizing the preliminary round.
At the closing and award ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented 107 prizes, including 20 collective awards, 67 individual awards, and 20 thematic awards.
Thai Nguyen University – Lao Cai Campus was honored with the award for “Outstanding Organization of the Preliminary Round.” In addition, two students received Consolation Prizes: Pham Hai Yen, a student of the English-medium Primary Education Program (Cohort 9), and Nguyen Ngoc Lan, a Primary Education student (Cohort 8). Notably, Nguyen Ngoc Lan has maintained her achievement in the provincial Reading Culture Ambassador Contest for three consecutive years. These accomplishments reflect the students’ passion for reading, commitment to learning, and persistent efforts in promoting reading culture.
