Thai Nguyen University Signs Cooperation Agreement with Tien Phong Newspaper and DBV Insurance Group

On August 15, Thai Nguyen University (TNU), Tien Phong Newspaper and DBV Insurance Group Joint Stock Company held a signing ceremony at the Tien Phong Newspaper headquarters to strengthen cooperation among the university, media and business sectors in education and human resource development.

The overview of the ceremony

Attending the ceremony was Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hung, Secretary of the TNU Party Committee and President of TNU, Assoc. Prof. Ha Xuan Linh, Chief of the TNU Office, and Assoc. Prof. Tran Nhuan Kien, Director of the TNU Digital Center. Representing Tien Phong Newspaper was Mr. Phung Cong Suong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper. Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thai, General Director, together with leaders of relevant departments and units were representatives of DBV insurance company.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phung Cong Suong highlighted the potential for cooperation among the three organizations and emphasized that the media–university–business partnership model would provide students with greater opportunities to develop practical skills and access employment opportunities after graduation.

Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hung affirmed that cooperation with Tien Phong Newspaper and DBV is in line with TNU's orientation of linking education with practical requirements and labor market needs. TNU looks forward to working with its partners in skills development, professional internships, capacity building and expanding employment opportunities for students.

Representatives of the three organizations sign the Memorandum of Understanding

Under the agreement, the three parties will jointly organize training programs, seminars, forums and practical activities focusing on professional skills, communication, presentation, sales, customer service, technology applications, personal financial management and entrepreneurship.

DBV will provide opportunities for TNU students to undertake internships and gain practical experience in a corporate environment, while also offering scholarships to students facing financial difficulties and implementing other appropriate support programs.

In the coming period, the three parties plan to organize career and admissions counseling events, programs on employment and entrepreneurship skills, provide opportunities for students to undertake internships and work as collaborators at DBV, and organize activities for the TNU student community.

The cooperation among TNU, Tien Phong Newspaper and DBV is expected to establish an effective “Education – Media – Business” partnership model, strengthen students' practical skills, expand career opportunities and contribute to the development of a high-quality workforce.
