Warmth of the “Spring for Students – Joining Hands to Light Up Dreams” Program 2026

On the afternoon of February 3, Thai Nguyen University held the 2026 “Spring for Students – Joining Hands to Light Up Dreams” Program in a warm and compassionate atmosphere, aiming to support the material and spiritual well-being of students from disadvantaged backgrounds on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horses.

On the side of Thai Nguyen University, Dr. Nguyen Hong Lien – Vice President of Thai Nguyen University, representatives of the leadership of the Department of Training and Learner Management and member universities attended the event. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong – Deputy Director of the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), Thai Nguyen Branch and along with staff from relevant units were at the event.

In her remarks at the program, Dr. Nguyen Hong Lien emphasized that Thai Nguyen University consistently regards students as the center of all training, research, and community service activities; all university initiatives are learner-oriented, with particular attention, care, and companionship extended to students facing difficult circumstances. Dr. Nguyen Hong Lien expressed her confidence and conveyed encouragement and support to the students, hoping that throughout their studies at Thai Nguyen University, they would continue striving, training themselves, and accumulating knowledge and experiences to confidently step into the future.

On this occasion, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) – Thai Nguyen Branch presented sponsorship gifts, demonstrating its close partnership with Thai Nguyen University in supporting students.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee presented 50 Tet gift packages to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have achieved good academic results. This timely encouragement contributes to helping students enjoy a joyful and warm traditional Tet holiday.
