Quan Ba Commune Kindergarten currently has 383 children studying at six satellite preschool sites and one domain preschool site, most of whom are children of ethnic minority families facing difficult socio-economic conditions. The Nam Son preschool presently operates one mix-aged class with 25 children aged from one to five years old. For many years, the cooking area and sanitation area at the preschool site had only been temporarily constructed and did not adequately ensure safe living and learning conditions for the children.

In response to these challenges, the Trade Union of Thai Nguyen University provided financial support for the construction of a new kitchen and sanitation facilities for the preschool. The project includes a 20-square-meter kitchen area and two restroom facilities with a total area of 4 square meters. Construction commenced on May 2, 2026, with the participation of the village management board, parents, and local authorities. The total value of the project was VND 80 million.

Although the construction process encountered numerous difficulties due to harsh mountainous weather conditions, challenging transportation routes, and the long-distance transportation of construction materials, all participating forces made great efforts to complete the project promptly and put it into operation. The facility is expected to significantly improve the learning and living conditions of children in the highland area.

The project demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility of the Thai Nguyen University Trade Union toward educational development in disadvantaged areas, while also contributing to better care and support for children in ethnic minority communities.

Speaking at the ceremony, representatives of the preschool and local authorities expressed their sincere appreciation to the Trade Union of Thai Nguyen University for their meaningful support and for helping provide additional facilities to enhance childcare and educational activities at the preschool site.
