Thai Nguyen University and Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training Sign Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement

On the afternoon of April 22, in Bac Ninh Province, Thai Nguyen University (TNU), in coordination with the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training, held a conference to sign a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the two sides.

The conference was honored to guest Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of TNU, Mr. Ta Viet Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training; along with representatives of TNU’s affiliated units, departments of the Department of Education and Training, and principals of high schools across the province.

In his remarks, the Director of the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training emphasized the practical significance of the conference in strengthening linkages between general education and higher education, while creating favorable conditions for students to access information, receive career guidance, and choose suitable academic pathways. He also expressed the expectation that both sides would further enhance cooperation, particularly in admissions counseling, career orientation, and high-quality human resource training.

As a representative of TNU, Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hung provided an overview of the University’s scale, training quality, and 2026 admissions plan. TNU is a multidisciplinary regional university with nearly 115,000 learners, over 1,000 PhDs, and more than 200 professors and associate professors. The employment rate after graduation exceeds 90%.

In 2026, TNU plans to enroll 29,181 students across 242 undergraduate programs and 28 college-level programs, applying diverse admission methods to facilitate applicants’ choices.

At the conference, participants discussed cooperation in admissions counseling, career guidance, joint training, scientific research, STEM education, quality assurance, and student support activities.

On this occasion, leaders of both sides signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement, establishing a long-term partnership in areas such as career guidance, admissions, training, scientific research, and quality assurance.
