President of Thai Nguyen University Presents Books to the Library and Community Cultural Center of Phan Dinh Phung Ward

 

On the morning of April 21, the People’s Committee of Phan Dinh Phung Ward held a ceremony to launch the Library and Community Cultural Center, as well as the Community Health Care Center associated with elderly care in Phan Dinh Phung Ward.

Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Thai Nguyen University, representatives from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Publishing House, and the Digital Center attended the event. The representatives of provincial departments, sectors, and relevant local authorities were also at the ceremony.

In his remarks, a representative of the Ward People’s Committee emphasized that this is a meaningful and practical event, demonstrating the strong commitment of the Party committees, authorities, and local residents to improving cultural and spiritual life, enhancing community health care, and building a civilized and modern urban area. The representative also expressed sincere appreciation for the leadership and guidance of provincial departments and agencies, as well as the coordination and support from Thai Nguyen University, the Publishing House, the Digital Center, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, and other relevant organizations.

The newly launched models include the Library and Community Cultural Center—an open space designed to serve reading, learning, research, exchange, and community activities. The model is expected to promote reading culture, foster a learning society, enhance public knowledge, and strengthen community cohesion. In addition, the Community Health Care Center associated with elderly care carries profound humanitarian significance, aiming to provide medical knowledge, primary health care consultation, nutritional guidance, physical exercise instruction, and periodic health monitoring, with particular attention to the elderly.

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hung presented 200 books to the Library and Community Cultural Center of Phan Dinh Phung Ward, contributing to the enrichment of learning resources for local residents.
