Training Workshop on Reviewing and Updating Personnel Data in the Human Resource Management Software

In the morning of November 6, Thai Nguyen University (TNU) organized a training workshop to guide on reviewing and updating staff and faculty data in the Human Resource Management Software. Attending the workshop were leaders and specialists from the Department of Organization and Personnel, members of the Information Technology Project Advisory Team, representatives from the administrative departments of affiliated and subordinate units, administrative officers from member universities, colleges, and TNU campuses in Lao Cai and Ha Giang, as well as representatives from Viettel Thai Nguyen of Viettel Group.

At the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Truong, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, emphasized that as part of the ongoing digital transformation efforts, TNU is collaborating with the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group to simultaneously implement three major information technology and digital transformation projects: Phase 3 of the IT Infrastructure Project, Phase 1 of the Academic Management Software Project, and the University ERP System Project. The Phase 3 IT project encompasses several key software systems, including document and executive management, human resource management, and a data warehouse. The HR management software is currently being standardized and integrated into the centralized database of TNU and its member institutions to ensure fast and accurate data updates, in accordance with Official Dispatch No. 6714/BGDDT-TCCB dated October 22, 2025, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.is

During the training session, representatives from Viettel Thai Nguyen introduced the features of the Human Resource Management Software, guided participants on how to use, update, and edit information, as well as manage personnel profiles on the system to ensure standardized data. Participants also engaged in discussions and exchanged ideas on issues related to updating personnel records.

It can be affirmed that the implementation of the Human Resource Management Software marks a significant milestone in the digital transformation process of TNU. This initiative contributes to modernizing management activities, standardizing the personnel database, enhancing accuracy and consistency, and supporting effective data synthesis, reporting, and decision-making across the entire university system.
