2. Objectives

General Objectives:

The research topic aims to clarify and analyze the changes in the university education environment in the context of university autonomy; propose a set of criteria for evaluating the university education environment in the context of university autonomy; propose groups of solutions to develop the university education environment to meet the requirements of university autonomy.

Specific Objectives:

- Systematizing theoretical issues on university education environment and university autonomy.

- Building a set of criteria for evaluating the university education environment.

- Assessing the current status of university education environment in the context of university autonomy in Vietnam.

- Proposing groups of solutions to develop the university education environment in the context of university autonomy.

3. Creativeness and innovativeness

- The creativeness and innovativeness in the research content: This is one of the studies in Vietnam that clarifies the concept of university education environment and builds a set of criteria to assess the current status of the university education environment.

- The creativeness and innovativeness in research results: The research results show that the set of criteria for assessing the higher education environment can be used to help higher education institutions self-assess and recognize changes in the higher education environment in the context of university autonomy. The measures to develop the higher education environment proposed in the research topic contribute to improving the teaching environment, the science and technology environment, the environment of cooperation and community development, the university governance environment, helping higher education institutions gradually improve the quality of training, develop in the direction of innovation and serve the community.

4. Research results

The research obtained the following basic results:

- Overview of the research issues: Educational environment, university education environment, university autonomy, university education environment in the context of university autonomy.

- Develop a set of criteria for assessing the higher education environment. The set of criteria can be used for higher education institutions in Vietnam.

- Assessment of changes in the higher education environment in the context of university autonomy. The assessment results of changes in the higher education environment are analyzed from the perspective of university administrators and lecturers.

- Analysis of factors affecting the change of the higher education environment in Vietnam.

- Proposing some groups of solutions to develop the higher education environment in Vietnam and recommendations some orientations for renovation in higher education in the new context.

The research results of the topic will supplement an in-depth study on the higher education environment, the issue of university autonomy, a set of criteria for assessing the higher education environment and solutions for developing the higher education environment in the context of university autonomy.

The set of criteria for assessing the higher education environment helps to assess the current situation of the higher education environment in the context of university autonomy, thereby contributing to proposing groups of solutions to develop a modern and sustainable higher education environment in Vietnam.

For the lead organization and research results application establishments:

- The research results of the topic are the basis for the Ministry of Education and Training to orient the renovation of higher education and promote university autonomy; continue to perfect institutions and policies on the development of the higher education environment in Vietnam.

- The research results of the topic are the basis for higher education institutions to implement solutions to develop the higher education environment, focusing on the teaching environment, science and technology environment, cooperation and community development environment, and university governance environment. The process of implementing the project will improve the educational research competence of the members of the research team.
