On December 26, Thai Nguyen University (TNU) organized an event to Honor Outstanding Students and Confer “Students with five-distinction aspects” Titles at All Levels for the 2024–2025 academic year. The event aimed to recognize and commend students’ outstanding efforts in academic performance, personal development, and active participation in movements and activities across the University.

In his address, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Ha emphasized that with more than 60 years of formation and development of its member institutions, Thai Nguyen University has consistently attached great importance to training quality. According to him, member units regularly review and adjust training programs following a learner-centered approach, closely integrating academic knowledge with practical experience to equip students with a solid foundation and the confidence needed upon graduation.

During the past academic year, student development movements continued to be implemented based on five core criteria: academic excellence, personal development, voluntary work commitment, international integration, and physical fitness, contributing to students’ holistic development and enhanced adaptability. Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Ha noted that 99 outstanding students were honored at the Conference, an increase from 94 students in the previous academic year, and highly appreciated the 371 students recognized and nominated by Youth Union and Students’ Association organizations at all levels. “These honored students will serve as key contributors in spreading the spirit of learning, self-improvement, and dedication, helping to build a dynamic, creative, and connected student community. The University will continue to accompany and create the most favorable conditions for students to develop comprehensively in knowledge, skills, and life attitudes,” he affirmed.

According to Decision No. 7059/QD-TNU dated December 18, 2025, Thai Nguyen University awarded commendations to 99 outstanding students of the 2024–2025 academic year, including 80 Excellent students and 19 Merit students.

At the Conference, the Organizing Committee presented certificates of merit and awards to outstanding students. Following the commendation ceremony, Thai Nguyen University conferred the “Students with five-distinction aspects” title at the University level, based on five criteria: excellent ethics, excellent academic performance, excellent physical fitness, excellent voluntary commitment, and excellent international integration. Certificates were awarded to 07 collectives achieving the title, along with outstanding individuals.

The award ceremony also provided an opportunity for students to share their experiences, stories, and personal reflections throughout the academic year. The atmosphere in the hall was vibrant and emotional, filled with joy and pride as each individual stepped forward to receive certificates, flowers, and congratulations from lecturers and peers.
Sharing his emotions, Dinh Khac Nam (Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, University of Agriculture and Forestry) said, “Today is a truly memorable moment for me. This award not only recognizes my efforts in learning but also motivates me to continue self-improvement, participate in volunteer activities, and contribute to the community. I hope this spirit will spread and inspire many others to grow and perfect themselves.”
Similarly, Duong Thi Nhu Y (Faculty of Industrial Economics, University of Technology) shared: “Receiving the certificate today makes me realize that every effort is recognized. From academic diligence and participation in movements to physical training and integration skills, all contribute to shaping resilience and a positive life attitude. I will continue striving to live up to the trust of my lecturers and spread positive inspiration to my peers.”
The ceremony space became warm and intimate as participants shared joy, exchanged memorable stories, and encouraged one another to continue developing. Radiant smiles, bright eyes, and resounding applause created meaningful moments, affirming that dedication and perseverance are truly valued.
Each story shared at the ceremony conveyed the message that today’s achievements are the result of persistence, passion, and community spirit.
