Thai Nguyen University Strengthens Education on Human Rights

Thai Nguyen University will implement a range of comprehensive measures to integrate human rights education into its training programs during the 2026–2030 period. The plan focuses on innovating formal curricula, enhancing extracurricular activities, and developing teaching staff in order to improve students’ legal awareness and civic responsibility.

During the 2026–2028 period, human rights education will be incorporated into academic programs in a manner appropriate to the characteristics of each discipline.

For non-law programs, Thai Nguyen University will develop and promulgate a unified 3-credit syllabus for the General Law course to be applied throughout the university system. Beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year, Thai Nguyen University plans to organize the annual competition “Learning about Human Rights Law” for students across the university system. The activity is expected to contribute to improving legal understanding, awareness of human rights implementation, and civic responsibility among students.
