On the afternoon of November 8, Thai Nguyen University organized a series of meaningful and vibrant activities to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2025). Attending the event were Dr. Nguyen Van Tao, Secretary of Thai Nguyen University’s Party Committee, Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hung, PhD, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Thai Nguyen University, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Ha, PhD, Vice Chairman of the University Council and Chairman of the Trade Union; Dr. Nguyen Hong Lien, Vice President; together with officials, lecturers, and staff members under the University Administration Office Trade Union.

In his speech, Dr. Hai reviewed the history, traditions, and significance of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20), emphasizing the vital role and valuable contributions of teachers to education and training careers and national development. He also affirmed that the celebration was an opportunity to express deep gratitude and honor the devotion and contributions of teachers in the education sector in general and at Thai Nguyen University in particular.

In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Hung, PhD, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to generations of teachers, lecturers, and staff members who have contributed to the University’s success throughout the years. He highlighted the University’s remarkable progress in 2025 in terms of student enrollment, research, and international cooperation, affirming its vital role in implementing national education policies and promoting socio-economic development in the northern mountainous region.
He noted that the University will soon establish a branch campus in Dien Bien Province and launch the Institute for Excellence in Training and Research. Thai Nguyen University is honored to be one of 13 higher education institutions selected to develop centers of excellence and talent in Industry 4.0 technologies by 2030, specifically tasked with leading the agricultural biotechnology network in northern Vietnam. These milestones reflect the trust and recognition of the central ministries and agencies in Thai nguyen University. He also called upon all lecturers and staff to continue fostering solidarity, dedication, and intellectual passion to build a sustainable and innovative Thai Nguyen University that contributes actively to the nation’s higher education development.

Within the framework of the event, various exciting and engaging activities took place, including the team-building program “Unite for Strength – Connect for Success” featuring collective games such as “Together in Unity,” “Magic Ball,” “Building the House,” and “Tug of War.” The program also included a Gala Dinner and the singing contest “Voices of Aspiration to go on,” which attracted enthusiastic participation and support from a large number of staff members.
These activities have not only served as a meaningful contribution to teachers who dedicate their lives to education and human resource development, but have also helped strengthen solidarity and inspire motivation among staff to accomplish the goals of the 2025–2026 academic year, contributing positively to the overall growth of Thai Nguyen University.
