Thai Nguyen University Strengthens Collaboration with Oklahoma State University, the USA

On the afternoon of March 23, Dr. Nguyen Hong Lien, Vice President of Thai Nguyen University, chaired a working session with a delegation from Oklahoma State University, led by Dr. Randy Kluver, Vice Provost and Dean, OSU Global, Oklahoma State University.

Also in attendance were representatives from the Department of Science, Technology and International Affairs, the Department of Academic and Student Affairs, the Center of Training and International Development, and the International School.

In her remarks, Dr. Nguyen Hong Lien emphasized that Thai Nguyen University and Oklahoma State University have maintained a longstanding partnership, with numerous programs delivering practical benefits to TNU and its member institutions. She expressed appreciation for OSU’s continued cooperation and provided an overview of TNU’s current operations and strategic development directions. She also expressed the desire to further expand collaboration in key areas such as semiconductor, artificial intelligence (AI), enhanced faculty and student exchanges, and the implementation of joint research projects.

Representatives of the OSU delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome extended by Thai Nguyen University and engaged in discussions on future collaboration opportunities, particularly in expanding faculty exchange programs, academic collaboration, and joint research and opportunities to co-conduct IAPP projects and programs sponsored by the US Embassy in Vietnam.

The working session represents a meaningful cooperative activity as Thai Nguyen University continues to advance digital transformation, strengthen international integration, and expand global partnerships in education, research, and technology transfer, thereby contributing to enhancing education quality and elevating Thai Nguyen University’s position regionally and globally.
