On the morning of May 27, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, together with a working delegation from the province and Thai Nguyen University, conducted a survey of proposed sites for the establishment of a Thai Nguyen University campus in Bac Kan and an innovation space (Regional Innovation Center) located in Duc Xuan and Bac Kan wards.

Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, together with the delegation, surveyed the proposed site for the Thai Nguyen University campus in Bac Kan and the innovation space (Regional Innovation Center).

The delegates of Thai Nguyen University were Assoc. Prof. Hoang Van Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Thai Nguyen University, Dr. Nguyen Hong Lien, Vice President of Thai Nguyen University and Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union of Thai Nguyen University, and Director of the Regional Innovation Center.

The delegation conducted on-site inspections at the former headquarters of the Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee, as well as Campus 2 of Thai Nguyen College. These facilities are proposed to be transferred to Thai Nguyen University for the development of the Thai Nguyen University campus in Bac Kan and the establishment of a space for science and technology display (Regional Innovation Center).

During the working session, delegates discussed and clarified existing difficulties and challenges, while also proposing solutions related to the management and utilization of public assets following administrative restructuring, as well as funding for the repair and upgrading of deteriorated facilities.

The delegation surveyed the former headquarters of the Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee.

Speaking during the site inspections, Mr. Trịnh Xuân Trường requested local authorities and relevant agencies responsible for the management of these assets to continue accelerating the process of handling, exploiting, and effectively utilizing public assets following administrative restructuring. He also emphasized the need for thorough reviews of the current conditions of land and facilities in order to formulate appropriate utilization plans.

Relevant departments, sectors, and agencies were urged to promptly consider and address proposals and recommendations submitted by Thai Nguyen University, while carefully reviewing and assessing the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed public asset utilization plans prior to implementation.
