FEMMA Center Concludes Internship Program for Students from Wenshan University (China)

As part of the training cooperation activities between the School of Foreign Languages, Thai Nguyen University, and Wenshan University (China), on November 20, the Females from Ethnic and Mountainous Areas Research and Development Center (FEMMA) held the closing ceremony of the internship program for students from Wenshan University.

Dr. Nong Hong Hanh, Deputy Head of the Department of Science, Technology and International Affairs, and Acting Director of FEMMA, representatives of the Center, along with supporting students from the 3C Chinese Club, School of Foreign Languages, Thai Nguyen University, attended the meeting.

In accordance with the cooperative training exchange between the School of Foreign Languages, Thai Nguyen University, and Wenshan University in China, the School of Foreign Languages organized Vietnamese language training for students from Wenshan University. To help students develop natural and flexible communication skills in real-life situations, enhance their advanced grammar and vocabulary usage, and improve their Vietnamese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, the School of Foreign Languages arranged groups of students to undertake internships at different university members and affiliated schools within Thai Nguyen University. The internship program was coordinated and implemented by FEMMA from October 27 to November 21, 2025, to improve Vietnamese proficiency, develop communication and translation skills, strengthen administrative and office abilities, learning about enterprises, shape career orientation, and experience Vietnamese culture.

Over nearly one month, seven students from Wenshan University participated in 20 learning sessions and diverse experiential activities organized by FEMMA in collaboration with affiliated units.

At the closing ceremony, the students presented individual reports highlighting their achievements, challenges, advantages, and memorable experiences. Dr. Nong Hong Hanh acknowledged their diligence, eagerness to learn, and progress throughout the internship period.

At the end of the program, FEMMA awarded Certificates of Completion to the seven students, recognizing their efforts and marking a meaningful experiential journey at Thai Nguyen University, while opening up further opportunities for cooperation and academic exchange between the two institutions in the future.
